Desmond Mac Mahon

Desmond Mac Mahon is a fine artist and painter for film and television who currently lives and works in London with a studio in Crystal Palace SE19. He is a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists, which aims to promote excellence in equine art. Having studied Fine Art at Central St Martins, he graduated with a B.A. Hons (1st) in Painting. During this time, he came second in the Natwest National Painting Prize 1994. Desmond is currently involved in the development of a contemporary form of equestrian portraiture, which aims to integrate the techniques of painting from the Baroque to the Modern.
